Some jobs don't need an agency wrapped around them. You know what you want filmed, you need someone competent holding the camera, and you'd rather not pay for a production company's project management layer to get it.
Day-rate hire is exactly that. We turn up with the kit, shoot what's on the list, and hand over the footage. If you have an in-house editor, take it raw. If you don't, we cut it.
Common bookings: company profiles, testimonials, event coverage, product demos, construction progress, property walkthroughs, podcast and interview setups, and social content days.

Operator and kit
Cinema camera, lenses, LED lighting, lav and shotgun audio, gimbal and tripod. Nothing hired in at your expense.

Half day is up to four hours, full day up to eight, including setup and pack-down.

Take the footage as-is on a drive, or add editing and get finished pieces back.

Everything offloaded to two drives before we leave. No single points of failure.

Priced to the job, not off a menu
Day-rate hire in Sydney generally sits between $600 and $1,800 depending on length, kit and whether editing is included. Full production companies running crews start considerably higher.
We scope every job properly and put a fixed number in writing before anything starts.

Do you travel outside Sydney metro?
Yes. Metro travel is included; anything beyond adds a travel fee quoted upfront.
Can I get the raw footage?
Yes, and there's no surcharge for it. Some producers charge extra to release raws — we don't.
Do you have insurance and drone licence?
Public liability is in place. Licensed drone operation is available and needs to be flagged at booking, since some Sydney airspace requires approval.
How far ahead should I book?
A week or two for a standard shoot. Same-week bookings are sometimes possible.
